donkeypuncher76 Posted May 29, 2012 Author Posted May 29, 2012 Eager to unmask and see how awful my masking slips and distractions looked,(with a near dead battery on dremel i was able to virtualy make the exacto slips disappear with a cotton buffing wheel, as if it buffed away or re-melted plastic?? lol, touch up is gonna be fun too, sleeper side stripe goof, color blend didnt show tthat good in pic, happy with lines on front almost. thx
ewaskew Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 What you have here looks good. Your right about the touch up its going to be fun. On your next stripe or two tone paint job after you tape it spray a light coat of clear on the area and it will keep the paint from bleeding under the tape. After the clear is dry you can paint your color on there and it will give you a better edge without as much to touch up.
donkeypuncher76 Posted May 29, 2012 Author Posted May 29, 2012 Thanks, that will come in handy on my 57 chevy that i cut and shavrd and 49 merc. simple 2 tones. next time no roomates screaming kid allowed within a mile while i work, haha. Thanks again.
