Shardik Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 I came upon this unique vehicle at the Hotrods Forever car show. I'll post more later - My photobucket account just locked down !???!
Shardik Posted June 3, 2012 Author Posted June 3, 2012 O.K., let's try this again: Yep, that's a jeep motor in there. The owner informed me that this is, in fact, the original color; one of four available. The doors are wild. The mechanism opperates as smoothe as silk. Hope you enjoyed it.
Mike Kucaba Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 I Did! I have the R&R resin piece all primed and ready for paint! Nice shot of the dash. I opened the hood and am thinking of sliding a Cobra chassis and running gear under the body.
Shardik Posted June 3, 2012 Author Posted June 3, 2012 Really?! Someone actualy kitted this? I might have to look into that.
Sixties Sam Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 I remember having a model kit of this car in the 1960's. Don't know who made it. It was curbside and kinda crummy, as I remember. There's a real Darrin just like the one in those photos in this area. It's the same color. Nice car! It's been in some shows here. the same guy has a 64 Avanti. Sam
