James W Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 If you use old bottles as paint stands, be sure to dry them inside and out! Doh!!
James W Posted July 12, 2007 Author Posted July 12, 2007 When you turn the bottle over to paint the bottom, water runs on your paint job.
Guest Guest_mikelo_* Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 Thats a good one. I'll have to remember that! Our club met at a pizza place for a while, well, until someone knocked a beer over. It turned out it splashed onto a model, and get this.........it started to take the paint off! I have never seen anything like it. Needless to say, we stopped metting at the pizza place.
RJWood Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 I've heard about using Coka cola to strip chrome parts, but beer as a paint stripper? I guess it would be cheeper than that purple stuff. and maybe if you strain it afterward you can have it with some pretzels.
