ARTEMIS1759 Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 (edited) ###### wish I had my pics but I am getting a surgery and don't have my Dad's picture of his '63. I have been wanting to do this model because I remember riding in the truck. It was yellow and brown. If you wait for a month or so I will be able to post them. If not sorry. I have two pics front 3/4 and rear 3/4. I would say for everything to be close if you have an itch to start it use a Chevy Titan or GMC Astro kit. The wheels my Dad had the spoke dayton wheels those kits have. It had a short wheel base similar to these kits. Wheels were brown. Lower part was brown and upper yellow. It had a single exhaust with the aircleaner right beside it. Edited June 12, 2012 by ARTEMIS1759
phoneguy Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 Here's what I did with mine, using the Chevy Titan kit.

mackinac359 Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 The red McClean posted earlier is one I built back when Spaulding's offered this cab about 10 years ago. I scratchbuilt the frame from C channel plastic, but today I would use a Titan 90 as the donor for ease or even a Road Boss. Tim
lapazleo Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 The Astro chassis makes an excellent universal chassis. If I remember right White during the 60s and 70s used a tube shaped crossmember which was carried over to some Western Star trucks to this day. I know my 2004 WS had them as did a friends 1968 White 7000. Glad I could help Jakebus.
