BIGTRUCK Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 (edited) Starting with the Miller Buick Monogram kit that was really discounted at Hobby Heavens open house because the body was bad, did the repairs and ready for paint...will be white with black inserts and black roof...all chrome and Nascar items removed.... Harry P. Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 NASCAR for the street? I'd add a door if it was mine...
scubadiver411 Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 I have to agree with harrypri, I put a blown motor in one of my stock cars a few years ago and reomoved most of the roll-cage and added the passenger seat to make it look more "street", but I didn't scribe door lines on my stock car. So, it still looks like a stock car with a blower scoop coming out of the hood STEVE
BIGTRUCK Posted July 14, 2007 Author Posted July 14, 2007 Going for this look rather than a big sponsored Nascar build , not a ''stock Buick Regal''
scubadiver411 Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 OHHHHH... my bad That looks more like something that we see at our local racetrack on Friday nites.... I guess you don't need to scribe door lines on that one then, huh ?? STEVE
BIGTRUCK Posted September 13, 2007 Author Posted September 13, 2007 Been awhile updating this one, but the entire kit was busted up pretty bad, the chassis was a mess, shot with dupli-color and using a Slixx number set , I'm gaining some ground...interior will be done in the same red color as the stripe..
George Christy Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Looks Like it might run out at Grundy or Illiana ,Ken I like that color scheme GeorgeC
Gary66 Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 Looks like a killer short tracker....lean and mean !!
ismaelg Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 Ken, That's a great save. Looking good so far! Thanks,
