PlasticFanatic67 Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 Hello everyone, I am new here and would like to show a few of my builds. The '60 chevy is almost done, in fact I am about to sit down and see about finishing it right now!!! Happy Building.
PlasticFanatic67 Posted July 14, 2007 Author Posted July 14, 2007 Nice colors on those. Is that Lime-Gold from Tamiya on the '60 Chevy? Thank you. Actually its the lime gold from testors airbrushed on. On the roof I airbrushed it silver then I used a computer cut stencil as a mask for the pattern.
PlasticFanatic67 Posted July 14, 2007 Author Posted July 14, 2007 Cool, thank you just added sign, it is a '65 and for the stripes on that one I just cut down tiny strips of tamiya masking tape and applied them over silver base.
rottin1 Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Yeah, I agree!!! Very cool paint jobs!! I really like the Lime Green one as well. Looking sharp!!!!
PlasticFanatic67 Posted July 17, 2007 Author Posted July 17, 2007 Thank you. I am almost done with the '60 chevy, I am hoping to show it on here in the next few days totally finished after a two year build...
PlasticFanatic67 Posted October 11, 2007 Author Posted October 11, 2007 Here are some shots of the almost completed '60 chevy. It still needs grill and a few other parts but almost done
PlasticFanatic67 Posted October 11, 2007 Author Posted October 11, 2007 A few more shots....Bad camera I apologize for the grainy out of focus shots but I have an antique digital camera with 1 mega pixel and no zoom lens...
PlasticFanatic67 Posted October 11, 2007 Author Posted October 11, 2007 Some day Ill get it finished with all the fixins, Then Ill finish the '65. What I would like to do is a series of chevy lowriders from 60-70 impalas all lowriders and crazy paint and interiors however finding the 66 impala and the 62 are kinda hard to do even on ebay, and when you find one you usually get out bid with a price higher than you really want to pay...
