RodBurNeR Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 This is a built up i bought off ebay awhile back in a lot. I was not aiming for this truck in particular, but i recently decided to tackle it for a local contest coming up. The contest has a theme for "cars and trucks with the year ending in "1". I put myself a 2week deadline and will be done in time. This is how it looked when i got it and then how it is in "mockup". BEFORE AFTER
RodBurNeR Posted July 20, 2007 Author Posted July 20, 2007 thanks guys! the color is Alpine Green Pearl by Dupli Color. yes it's a Chrysler color.....but hey it's a model hehe! i will have finished pics up in about 8 days or less.
RodBurNeR Posted July 24, 2007 Author Posted July 24, 2007 Nice save. Color works great on the uni. thank you! interior done for the '61 Ford Pickup! ain't perfect, but daggumb look at what i started with LOL
Harold Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 That's a great save on a very rare Ford- I believe they made the Uniside for only '61 and '62. Sure wish I had a time machine so I could go back and rescue that one from my misspent youth (as opposed to my misspent adulthood). Love the color, and the wheels set it off.

This is fun to rebuild old junkers I have this 1961 and a 1963 as well. 1961-63 all had unibody. I don't think they made a '64 kit? If they did , i will get one eventually lol
