Guest Darkside Customs Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 Ok, so I bought this kit just for the wire wheels, wasn't planning on building it anytime soon... Well I changed my mind... Got the parts cleaned up and primered and painted... Gotta love 103 degree weather... Testors flame red...
Dave Wood Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 Looks Good sofar I heard thats a pretty desent kit and goes together well, looking forward to seeing it finished.
Guest Darkside Customs Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 Decided to use the decals.... Wasn't sure I would like them, but I think it looks ok...
rmvw guy Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 It looks Good! I never can get the flame decals to lay down like that on the fenders, nice job! It's going to be another great hot rod!
Guest Darkside Customs Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 Thanks Ron... It was a bit difficult to get them to lay out nicely, but I used a straight pin and poked a couple small holes in the curves and as it dried I ran my finger to smooth it out.... Hopefully when I clear it I won't have any issues with it....
