Grzegorz Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 i present scratchbuilt 77 cherokee,I used to build revell jeep honcho kit
62rebel Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 that's pretty impressive! shame nobody kitted a late model Cherokee; they're popular here.
jeffs396 Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 Cool conversion! For those who want a full-size Cherokee of their own without having to do all of the work that Grzegorz did, RMR does one in resin: http://www.freewebs.com/rmrresin/nf125.htm
Brizio Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 Looks a nice idea, but I personally will not call it Cherokee... It is a Jeep Pick up J-10 or a Honcho kit with hard top. Front grille is wrong for a '77, (the '77 Cherokee has round headlight and different grille design). Cherokees has a shorter wheelbase than the J-10 you used. The '77 Cherokee never had a wood side trim it, you got confused by a Wagoneer... You should add a bench seat in the back, SJ Cherokee have seats in the back, J-10 Trucks not...
01blueedge Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 good job on scratch building the back I have always like the old cherokees and wagoneers
