What do diecast companies use for chrome paint?

I was in HobbyTown yesterday and was looking at their diecast car section. I noticed that, particularly on the American Muscle series, the chrome window trim around the windows and other chrome accents (not separate parts, but painted on) had nearly perfect chrome finishes. Any idea what paint they use? Is this part of a reaction to baking on the overall paint finish?

I have never seen anything that didn't look like silver paint. I will have to check out some new product tomorrow.

Checked out a variety of American Muscle and others, looks like the same old silver paint, a shinier grade of silver paint and whole sections chromed and masked off and then painted the car colour.
