Hi folks, VooDoo Larry's new shop is only minutes from my house and today he had an open house which I just got back from. Took some nice pics which are in my Fotki. I've known Larry since the late 80's and he is one of the most humble and nicest folks around. His VooDoo Psychosis is on the cover of Street Rodder Magazine currently. Hope some of the eye candy can inspire some cool builds. Click the link for my Fotki to see the rest. Enjoy!

George his shop is in Elk Grove Village. Larry is really active on Facebook so if your curious about where they'll be check him out there. He is very good about attending local shows and keeping fans updated.

I used to be in a model car club in Chicago with Voodoo Larry back in the late 70's. It was called The Old Town Escorts and was founded by Tom LIma Jr. & Ron Merkel. Larry is a good guy and very talented when it comes to working on cars, pinstripping, and music. I also heard that he still builds model cars occasionally too.

You sure it was him? In the late 70's Larry Grobe (Voodoo Larry) would have barely been a teenager (if that). I remember Tom Lima Jr. and Merkel also. Super Model Car Sunday at the Hillside Holiday Inn was the bomb back in the early years run by Lima.

Larry is a very talented artist in so many area's. His success is very well deserved.

Yeah I'm sure it was him in the late 70's or early 80's before he had any tatts. I used to help run the model car contest for Tom at the Holiday Inn along with Craig.

Awesome Nick. Those were the days!

Yes, those were GOOD times and I really enjoyed them. I got out of model cars for most of the 90's and got rid of all my stuff. That will NEVER happen again!
