scubadiver411 Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 I have heard about the "Future Floor Shine" being sprayed onto models, so I thought I would try it. It turned out pretty nice, but my question is.... Are you able to apply water-slide decals over the this with no ill-effects ?? I sprayed my car last fall and I have decided to add some decals to make it look a little better, but I have been hesitating because I don't know how it will react with the floor shine. Any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated. STEVE
Tipstang Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 I have done this with no ill effects at all. The only thing I would suggest is to brush a bit onto the decals after they dry as well. I like to protect em and it also helps to make em blend a bit better in my opinion as well.
Harry P. Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 Once Future is dry, you can add decals over it. Water won't dissolve Future after it dries.
Guest Davkin Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 Be careful when using decal setting solutions on top of future though. I know Solvaset will fog it. David
Guest Anthony Oteri Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Be careful when using decal setting solutions on top of future though. I know Solvaset will fog it. David Micro Sol and Micro Set will also fog it as well. As Harry said water has no effect on it at all.
scubadiver411 Posted August 1, 2007 Author Posted August 1, 2007 Thanks to everyone that has replied, I feel much more at ease knowing that I can put decals on my model now without worrying to much I'll just use plain water without setting solutions. STEVE
