I have the 1/72 scale "Dora", and it's over 4 feet long and 3+ tall. The 1/35 kit is over 8 feet long.

Entex made the 1/3 scale rotary engine for a number of years. Those would be considered "production" kits. Also, Airfix or someone makes a 1/8 scale Sopwith Camel biplane/triplane. That's pretty big, too.

OR...if you want to include these monsters: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Giant-Scale-Fleet-Biplane-Plans-and-Templates-/360480619287?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item53ee51bb17

Plans, templates & instructions - not really a kit.

As a kid I always wanted a 1/72 Monogram B36. Mainly because it said on the box "biggest model plane ever!". Would have needed more than a thumb tack to hold the string into my ceiling!
