Altering wheelbases

Anyone out there got a tutorial or info showing how to alter the wheelbase, fab the body panels, and all other things associated to make an A/FX model. Any help would be appreciated.

No photos but what I used to do is cut a rectangle with more plastic forward of the wheelwell. I would then trim a slice off the front of the peice I removed. This would allow the panel to slide forward. I would then use some of the piece I cut off to fill the void in the back void. Next would be some trimming and also some putty. Depending on body lines this can be a easy or difficult operation to pull off. I am sure there are other ways and someone with a better idea will come along soon. There then is the modifing of the interior and you will need to shorten the chassis and the drive shaft.
