tubbs Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 (edited) just got thte 68 shelby GT 500 with the SOHC (or DOHC) motor. how much different is the mustang chassis to the fairlane. i half heartily tried to put the one from the 33 willys with no success. i have not really looked at these in depth, thought i would throw it out to you guys. Fat Brian Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 If you don't mind chanding the front suspension some you could remove the shock towers from the inner fenders of the Fairlane and either move the front tires a little further out or change to a torsion bar type front end. The 68 GT 500 kit is so awful chassis wise I wouldn't put it in anything.
