W-409 Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 Bruce, it's GREAT to see you back! Your builds are always very nicely done and you build something different which is always good. This one is another great build! As William said, it could have been produced by the manufacturer. Looks very good, keep these coming.
Bartster Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 l did one of these conversions in the early '70s & it seemed straightforward, but mine, as a kid, turned out nothing like this! Awesome all the way around-especially the color! l remember the front suspension being pretty fiddly. That was confirmed on a recent attempt at the '55 sedan based on the Nomad kit. l only hope to get it looking half as nice as yours. & yes- The general should have started the el Camino in '55. Bart.

wraith Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 just found this one. very nice build! some older school wheels might look better on her but those 454SS truck wheels look pretty good on her. About to build one of these myself. but I am going for the Pro Touring Rat Rod look. I will been coming back to look at this as I build mine. Awesome work Bruce!
