jamesG Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 chris you don't have to start a new topic every time for the same build. just go to the original and add to it. now, here are some ideas for ya.paint the frame to look like wood, the hub caps to look like canon balls, jolly roger on the doors, interior wood dash and pistol shifter from gaming mini.
captin Posted August 27, 2012 Author Posted August 27, 2012 Ah I see thank you and thank you for the ideas those are great but for the shifter I'm using a pirate sword but I like the idea for the wood
jamesG Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 no problem chris, if you have any questions or need ideas just ask there are lots of folks here that will be glad to help.
Draggon Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Well Chris, I wasnt too sold on that angle chop. Your great finish kept me intrigued. Now that I see the overall idea, I really dig it! Keep like it is, dont change anything!
captin Posted August 30, 2012 Author Posted August 30, 2012 Glenn, i wasnt to sure if the chop was going to turn out either but then i added some body filler to smooth the rough edges out and it turn out pretty good and the paint job was and mistake that turned out to better in the long run my air brush was acting up when i was spraying the flat black so i had to sand it all down to respray it again and that is how i came across that look. but thanks for the compliments and the ideas they are greatly appreciated
captin Posted September 5, 2012 Author Posted September 5, 2012 finally thought of what to do to the interior turned out pretty good so far just have to some final touches to it and will be done like add a wash to it to make it more worn lookin and some sandy footprints on the floor
