mnwildpunk Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 If any of you have a mini miter box like I do. Here are a couple ideas to help. I didn't like the fact if I was cutting long narrow pieces of styrene they would wiggle back and forth with my blade. So I just slapped down some double sided sticky tape and fixed it's wagon good. The next thing I did was took my ruler and lined it up with the center line. Then with a black fine felt tip marker i marked off the milimeters in both directions. That way I can add or subtract the needed mm. depending on which way my 45° cut is going. Some of you may of figured these tricks out yourself. But since I have used so many of the 2,183 tips I thought I should finally add something
Roncla Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 I too have had the wriggles while trying to cut narrow pieces with my mitre box. The 2 sided tape is one of those too easy tricks that makes me wonder why I couldn't have thought of it.
