Modellpularn Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Hi guys, I haven't been so active for awhile. God knows why. Tinkering with my El Camino maybe, out of phase, down and out, ohh I don't know, dreaded "builders block". Anyway, I might be on to something now. I got this really cool grille with some AMT '62 Chevy Impala stuff I bought on evilbay. That was some time ago. I assumed it was for the Chevy, but maybe not.... Looks like this: There's a roll pan that seems to fit under it in this way. Any clues as to what it comes from? I might just use it in a '62 Bel Air that's already been messed with. It fits very good the other way around, as a replacement for the stock grille. Same angle. But it seems better, or wilder to attach it this way. Build some sort of extension.
Modellpularn Posted October 7, 2012 Author Posted October 7, 2012 Would you believe, I got a reply on our Nordic model forum, and the guy said what I thought: AMT 1962 Chevy HT annual kit. But I have yet to see a pic of the instructions. Who had that site where you can find pics of old instructions? I've seem to have forgotten, "hmm, it's the glue..."
Modellpularn Posted October 7, 2012 Author Posted October 7, 2012 Thanks Casey! I checked it out, but didn't find the one I was looking for... Well, some other time maybe. Easy to get lost for hours.... Time to sleep now, I've worked most of the night. Close to 7 in the morning. Feels good that my modeling buddies are there to help. Thanks again!
