BluePopsicle Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 I'm not sure if this topic is already listed as I'm on my way out the door to head to work. I'm using enamel and don't have any Alclad II. How would you suggest heat staining?
trogdor Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Tamiya clear blues and yellows will look acceptable over silver.
W-409 Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 I just tried to mix a little thinner and Revell Clear Blue, result was very good. It's actually very easy and you can adjust how much heat staining you want by adding more thinner, or more paint. I have to try those Tamiya paints too, even if this way seems to work fine for me too.

I'll just have to thin a couple of my colors and see what happens.
