There was a bit nothing some sand paper and a knife couldnt take care of. Only complaint was i thing more things were chromed then need so it was a bit more work to remove the chrome finish. But all in all its a solid kit.

Worked on the engine block today. I strayed from the suggested paint color and did a steel/sivler mix. I stripped most of the chrome parts so the throttle, intake and blower were painted in a high shine (whats on the lablel not my words lol) silver. Heres a picture of the the block minus the manufolds and headers.

Painted headers red. I felt lime all my work removing the chrome finish might not be recognized lmfao so the other sprue u see is to do that lol

worth it .... hell yeah , cost at least 3 times that here in the UK .

Nice score for $10! My only actual gripes with this kit are the lack of a set of black stripes and the design of the center bar of the grille.

nice score for ten bucks! kits are getting so expensive.......i was gonna pick up the new 50 oldsmobile the other day..........27.00 dollars!! geez!

I painted the seats late last night. Did them in just a flat black. I think they look really good for not using flocking.

I also finished the block assembly. Here is some quick pics of them

Looks fantastic... I've built this same kit in a lot of different versions about 5 times over the years. I like the kit because it's accurate in most respects and it's just plain fun. I'll be picking up another one soon as I finish one of the other 8 projects I have on the bench.
