surfjunke Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 (edited) The model A Sedan I built this past spring sold & It needed a case. Th smallest I could find & afford is made by BBR. The car looked lost in the case, so I came up adding ground work & a tree to help fill the space. It gave me a good excuse to use some of the model railroad scenery I have. This stuff has not been used in many years. I made the groundwork from foam that I carved to shape. It was then covered with Celuclay & when dry, painted. When the paint was dry I added the static grass. The tree was from Woodland Scenics. The tree itself is a soft white metal casting that you shape to the configuration you want. It was then primered, painted & then mounted to the base. The foliage is colored foam that has been ground up. The road is 600 grit sandpaper glued to some scrap illustration board. The white stripe was masked & painted. Edited October 11, 2012 by surfjunke
