Are those brass rivets? Also, I would love to know what you did to make the single headlight buckets, they look very realistic. I am working on a Freightliner cabover myself, and would like to go with single headlights. This is going to be nice truck from what I see that you've done so far. Good work. B)B)

Hi there,

Thanks Chris, I will check that out, as I lost a lot of rivets when I combiend my two Freightliner cabs for the drom tractor.

What's goin' on...

Ray

To me it looks like he used round stock styrene.

I thought that's what is was. Just wanted to be sure. I didn't know if it was a custom part that he bought, or round tube that was shaped. Thanks Scott, and Uwe.

Wow!!

Is it really August 2007 when Uwe started this one?? How time has flown. It would be good to have an update. Looked like a great project and having seen some of his other works I'm sure many folks out there were looking forward to seeing the progress photo's.

Best Wishes

Uwe,

This looks great so far. I like the single headlights on the Freightshaker and that Garrett paint scheme is very different from the CF one we often see. Are the decals your own design or are they bought from someone else? Good to see you making some progress on this truck. Its been a long time coming and I will certainly look out for further updates.

Good luck with the rest of the build!

Hi Dave,

I made those decals with corel draw and printed them out on my Alps printer as Uwe said.I bought it from ebay some years ago....

For my Willig Freightlines Ford I also made the decals.

Regards,Chris
