Here is the start of my newest creation. This one will using 1/64th scale cars.

Start of the base.

Foamed, have to carve it to shape now, then do the roadway.

Dumb question, why so deep?

Wanted to give it the appearance of a hill. Like you have just come off a flat stretch of pavement, and can't see what is ahead.

Yes they do. The cars will be the stars.

The ones pictured above though do not. This were just for the mock-up. One of the mock-up cars is a FC from HW's.

When you see the cars, you will know.

Bill to answer your ? in the movie American Graffiti, John Milner was shown as being killed by a drunk driver. Fast forward to the sequel if you will, More American Graffiti, and they track the progress of the main characters after graduation. It shows John's 32 Ford heading down the highway at dusk, with the oncoming car swerving over the center line.

BTW I work in the smaller scales that is why this one is done in 1/64th.
