Need some Corvette C6 underside pictures....

I need some pics of an 06 as I am trying to add some detail to the bottom side of my latest project. Tried Google and the Ebay route and nothing yet.....I got some great pics from Bill Geary of a C4 from the bay, but striking out on a 06.....

I can't find the pics online but this is what I did based on pictures, magazines, books and my own crawlings under some cars

This can give you an idea. If I find the pics I'll post them.

This is a C6 convertible (identical to a coupe)

...and this is the Z06. The main difference is that the floorboards on the Z06 are darker because of them been carbon fiber. The suspension craddles are magnesium on the Z06 and aluminum on the C6, but the colors look similar.

I guess if you used carbon fiber decals on the Z06 that would be correct.

Here's the best I can do with undercarriage pics of the C6............They can be hard to find as hen's teeth. In fact, I think I got these from Izzy a while back.

And here's a pic of my finished C6........

That is not the case in this application. The Floorboards are carbon fiber but are coated. I'm not sure if it's primer or some sort of gelcoat. The core is balsa wood!!!

Hey Len ,

Try checking out V-R-M . com on line , Vintage Racing Miniatures , the owner is a racing nut and he has links for tons of race cars ( especially Corvettes , Ismael ) . He also produces excellent decals that are manufactured by Cartograph that must be seen to be appreciated . And as an added plus Steve D. is a really cool guy , that is quite knowledgeable , and is not afraid to spread it around . ( and he has cool initials ! )
