Simple Green good to remove paint ?

Just wondering if Simple Green makes a good model paint remover ? I checked the price of super clean a gallon and well 3.87 L and it was 21 bucks kind of expensive I thought any other ideas on cost effective paint remover? I know this topic could of been posted already but what the hey.
