coil over shocks

Need some help on making coil over shocks for a 1/25 scale Dodge Charger 1968 Revell .size of wire rod and tubing to use and a few photo on how to would help me. Front and rear

In 1:1, common coilovers have a 2" diameter (Koni, for example). That would require .080" tube in 1/25 scale. The spring wire in 1:1 is around 1/2" or so, depending on spring rate. That would be .020" wire in 1/25 scale. You could expect the rod in the shock center to be about 3/4" to 7/8" in 1:1, or about .030" to .035" in 1/25. These approximations should look about right.

Amazon sells some polished stainless in .035 that makes good shock shafts. They also sell nice small springs but you have to buy 10 at a time.

Hi ace wouldn't 0.80 tube be to big for a 0.30 or 0.35" rod I have tried it and it is very loose.

I didn't say that diameter wire would be a good fit in the tube. I said those diameters would be good scale approximations of the 1:1 dimensions. Look at a real shock...the rod is significantly smaller diameter than the body. You will have to shim the inside of the tube with other pieces of telescoping tube, or some other method, to get a snug fit.
