thnx , the build thread is somewhere here also ( i build that recently out of 2 kits)

painted the shifterknob and steering wheel while they where inside lol

made the steering wheel brown wood like and chrome..

the knob started with a base of chrome , then a light wash with brown and orange clear from tamiya over that , almost looks like polished walnut wood

did some general clean ups after the salt weathering

put a superthin coat of primer on the truck cab .. and well its was smooth as .... without any bondo or ...

used a left over amt pick up interiour and cut that up to use the floor and tunnel .. put the truck kits bench on there

those fake pedals , i just left them you cant see them after fitting everything together

tried a wrench on the bench (rime )

printed some vintage mag covers

boneville racer / cover

made it thicker with a sheel of plastic

super close up

and made one for the pick up as well

thnx ! tbh i had some issues with the truck

when i was modifying the chassis it went alright .. then i wanted to make custom wheels and after finishing i realised they didnt look like what i expected and well when i tryed to get them off all the steering linkage and the part that makes the hub steer broke off ..

so now í will have to either scratch some new stuff of use something from a cheap kit i hope to find

to be cointinued

I think those ft tire are to fat on that racer. Needs to be skinny ft tires. But all eles looks great. Your kickin @$$.

and @ hak , yes but tbh i didnt have the right tyres in the parts box ..i have one nice set but thats for a future build

that racer is actually build with a bunch of scrap parts i had onlt a loose body with busted roof and just started building this to put on the truck

so i just had to wing it a bit with what i had and could come up with using some spare parts ...

atm i'm here > (loose set up)

changed the rims into these > gave the chrome a wash and some smoke and added ford hub caps ...

also altered some white walls to fit

and shortened it , i want to build a trailer so 2 cars can be hauled

needs a tiny bit of bondo on the sides of the chassis and the sides of the plate (where the trailer hools in > what do you guys call that over there ?????)

i'm in doubt on the chassis color , either metal grey or black ....
