Everyone's building these killer trucks. I have to get in on this. Great looking mods so far, I'd personally love to see the build up of the frame. Keep it up.

I like pro street cars but i don't usually look to much into the builds on here. Then I came across this build and I couldn't stop looking. I went through all 10 pages and the two things that really kept me looking was the cool detail you were putting into the motor and the color combo. The color combo is so different, especially for a pro street in my opinion but man it just works. Very nice build.

Another killer build of yours I'm glad I found. Some very nice work your doing here sir. I look forward to the updates.

Wow! Just wow! The custom stuff and craftsmanship your doing in this build is crazy. A lot of inspiration and stuff to learn, I'm glad I finally came across this build. I'm pretty sure I might have seen it on Facebook or Instagram but can't remember where. If so lmk where I can check em out at. I was also wondering how you got the license plate holder and gas cap to pop up and stay up? Just a killer project. Can't wait to see more.

Any build that starts out with "it will be on the ground" always makes for a good start. Liking the motor compartment and the rear end so far. Can't wait to see more.

Very nice build. Love the tire and rim selection. I used to drive a slammed 83 blazer in high school. Still by far my favorite body style.

If this goes right along with your 1:1 builds I'd love to see some photos.

You got a lot of killer projects going on here at once. I don't know how you work on all at the same time. I work on one at a time little by little..haha. I'm diggin the Bellum build, love the headlight bezels. I'm also really diggin the Fames new grill with skull. Did you make the skull from scratch?

Then I had to make a piece for the open area. This seemed to be a lot harder then it looked. It was such a funky shape with some weird angles. Think I did alright tho Started with a flat piece. Little by little I bent and shaped it as I went along. After I glued it in and did some light sanding. Still needs body work and more detail. That's it for now. Let me know what you all think. The whole purpose for the motor cover was to incorporate the hood emblem. I lined it up straight, outlined it, and started cutting. I cut the front mount off the emblem and made a bracket for it that gives it a floating look.

Really liking what you did to the bottom side. I was a big fan of the first rear rims that were deep dish because it's exactly what I want to use on my 32 ford sitting on the bench. Then you whip out the current rim setup and they end up being a perfect fit for this build, especially after you black washed them. I have a lot to learn. Can't wait to see more.

I apologize for the late response but I can't thankyou enough Richard for taking the time to make the write up and post photos. Very informative. I've read over it a few times and you make it sound so easy, bada bing bada boom...haha. But seriously, it's much appreciated. I don't have everything you had mentioned but I have a new Hobby Lobby that just opened near me so when I'm ready this will come in handy. I do have the salt so I might try that way as well. I only had three questions for you. 1. Do I assemble it all first then start the dents and rust? 2. I was also curious how you go about getting the deep rust holes and dents? 3. Is there a way to seal it after applying the pigment and chalks so it doesnt rub off? Looking forward to trying these techniques out. Btw, if there's nothing better then your models it's your dioramas. Things are incredible.

Always impressed with your builds Richard and they're always inspirational. I'm thinking about trying to do a build of a 41 chevy abandoned pickup with my wife. She's never done one and I have yet to finish one so I figure if I do a rusted out abandoned/wrecked build I can't mess up and hope it's a fast build. Any advice or techniques for some first timers? You never disappoint. Can't wait to see what you do with the frame.

lol don't rub it in Andy. It'll be a long time before I get to a Cameo build. I'm not that quick of a builder and there is a long line of builds awaiting my attention. Im still learning tho, hopefully speed will come with experience. The Merc is one of my first builds since I was a kid and my first scratch build.

Wow! Another killer Cameo project. You and Revstew are really making me want to put everything down and build a truck. I need this kit and a couple set of them smoothies. Like the look your going for, cant wait for more updates.

Haha thanks man but I'm not sure I woulda even attempted the bumper mod. I'm liking the way you did the floors and sqeezed the suspension and motor right in there...and those wheels were the perfect fit for those big wheel openings. I think you chose the right direction my friend. i always appreciate it when people take the time to read through my stuff and comment so I feel the least I can do is respond back. I know it inspires me to get back to the bench. Good luck with that body filler...haha...you'll get the hang of it. Looking forward to more of the build.

What an awesome build Andy. Love them trucks! Some real nice modifications you've done. That 3d frame is badass, you should really think about selling those with all the accessories like the tanks, air compressors, etc. Besides the frame I really like what you did with the inside and outside of the bed. Then topped off with some clean ass lines from Kustoms Inc. I follow him on Instagram and everything he puts out is killer. What a great build, can't wait to see it done.

Hey Martin, what a great build. Love the idea of taking an ugly vehicle and making it better. I got a few I wouldn't mind trying this with. Thanks to you, this kit being one of them now. I do agree with Rich tho, you should shave them fog lights. They're taking away from the nice headlight work you did. Other then that it's one bitchin build, look forward to more. Keep it up.
