Darren B Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 (edited) I haven't for gotten about the strippers delight but had another brain storm, turning a 1950 Ford into a custom aztec warrior complete with stone work pyramids and custom interior to look like stone work just like my (1941 chevy) hell train build i just finished. got the doors opened and ready to frame.... trying out something new for me anyway, skinning the top layer off of foam core to use for interior panels that i can carve intricate aztec designs in the door panels, dash, and roof. The bed will have a pyramid and other aztec design/shapes in it. so here goes, will try to keep up work on the strippers delight as well, but will see what happens. Austin T Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 You know your going to hve to use Aztec Gold paint on this one dont you.Looking forward to this one.
Darren B Posted November 8, 2012 Author Posted November 8, 2012 actually doesn't house of color have a color that name? would love to use house of color just don't know where to buy it, was thinking of using the one coat laquers and using bronze one, inca, and pure gold in a tribal type paint scheme, just not sure how that would work for patterns or i was thinking using the gold metal flake from testors under the lime gold as patterns in the paint. just throwing some ideas i have had out there.
Darren B Posted November 13, 2012 Author Posted November 13, 2012 (edited) Got the firewall glued in and smoothing out, but now the brain cells have to come out and play........figuring out just how to fill the cab to look good. With foam and stone work again! Edited November 13, 2012 by Darren B

DPink Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 I think a sunroof would look really nice on that truck
Darren B Posted January 2, 2013 Author Posted January 2, 2013 (edited) These are going to be the seats, the shiny parts will be painted to resemble stone work., Edited January 2, 2013 by Darren B
Darren B Posted January 2, 2013 Author Posted January 2, 2013 loving it so far.. but the grill looks out of place. Yeah its not that pleasing aesthetically, just playing with ideas at this point, i was planning on hand carving something like i did on 41 chevy build but that took the better part of 8 hours to carve and I didn't want to go that far on this build. Alot of the ideas I come up with will probably change as I go along, but I love to get ideas from people here on the forum cause having other builders see it from their point of view helps me to see the bigger picture.
