  8. The theme for our 36th annual show is “Back Home Again in Indiana”. The winner of this award goes to a model of a car or truck with a connection to the state of Indiana. It could be an Indiana built car like a Studebaker or Duesenberg; or it could be a model of a car driven or owned by a famous Hoosier like James Dean’s Porsche; or it could be a model of a car that has raced at one of the many tracks in the state.
  9. Sorry Bill, for not getting back to you sooner. Yes, the "Back Home in Indiana" theme is for ANY car or pick up built in the state of Indiana. Any manufacturer, any year.

We are working on finding a new location for 2017, so we will be back the 1st Saturday of May 2017. We're sorry if this has inconvenienced anyone and we hope you all come back next year. NOT, NOT, NOT
  16. Awesome build Mike. The work on the bed turned out great and that blue and silver paint is super nice and so shiney! Pretty Cool.
  17. I make my own out of sprue. Yes some of it is large enough.
  18. Welcome to the Forum Robert. I hope you get a lot of enjoyment looking around in here and hopefully find some tips to help you out. Have you seen the '90 Mustang Coupe kit, it's an awesome kit. Roy BTW, I'm the owner of a Red '91 5.0 Coupe.
  19. Hi Sam, Welcome to the forum. So what part of Indiana are you from?
  20. Sorry, I don't have a picture. but as my memory recalls, your model is darn close.
  21. Super cool. Excellent build. Brings back lots of memories. This is very close to my first car. Same color, same black vinyl roof, same wheel covers. The difference is mine had a blue bench seat interior and it had a hood ornament that had 383 Commando written on it. Man I should have kept that car! Thanks for sharing your pictures.
  22. I haven't seen one but I have a friend in my model club that is building one. He says it's not a very good kit. A lot of the parts don't fit right so a lot of modification is necessary to make things like the headlight covers fit. He says it's not a kit for beginners, but an experienced modeler could make it a decent kit. Just his point of view.
  23. Cool truck Dan. Love the black orange contrast. Great build.
  24. Thank you Steve. I looked at just about every other site out there and they all were out of stock. I never even checked directly with the Model car Garage. I appreciate your help. Roy.
