  1. Sweet ride, very cool. Love the black paint/ red stripe.
  2. Sweet looking Shelby, Love the color! Awesome build.
  3. Have you seen the optional wheels in the AMT '66 Mustang Coupe kit? They are pretty good '68 Shelby replicas. Something to look into?
  4. One sweet ride. I like the mods you made, lots of mods, but still looks stock. Very cool.
  5. Wow, Tom, you've got a great idea there! That would be an awesome ride!
  6. I always loved the 2-n1 kits. The extra "custom" or "race" parts always excited me. All the parts that didn't get used went into my parts bin. To use Revells late model Shelby kits, you have a great looking model when you're finished but I'm disappointed because I used all the parts. There's none to throw in the parts bin. I love having a choice of wheels/tires, and headers/manifolds, intake/carbs, shifters, steering wheels, hood scoops, stripes/decals. Race parts, The list could go on, and I'm just thinking Muscle cars. 4x4's could have all kinds of options. Roll bars, winches, lights, grill guards etc... Hot Rods could have endless parts, different engine/transmission combos, rear ends, seats, shifters, manifolds/blowers. I love extra parts!
  7. Excellent build Jeff, gorgeous paint too.
  8. Awesome build! Very cool. Excellent conversion. We just traded our 1:1 Excursion for a Flex, nice car, but I kinda miss that giant truck!
  9. Awesome grill Blair! Chopped, Channeled, Sittin' low, gonna be super cool.
  10. Congratulations Dan! Welcome to home ownership. I hope everything goes good for you and your family, and I hope you get to enjoy that hobby room as much as possible.
  11. Me and my oldest son went on a road trip yesterday to a salvage yard that I haven't been to in 10 years. We drove up there to pick up a set of factory bucket seats for his '94 F-150. Anyhoo, on the way home we saw an old ford coming toward us. Turned out to be a white '69 Ford Talladega! We were out in the middle of nowhere. I've never seen one of these on the road before, only at shows or museums. Two minutes later we saw a red '68 Charger coming toward us! Both were gorgeous. What a good day! Wish I had pictures! Oh yeah, we also saw Sullivan county Indiana's newest Sheriffs car, a brand new Hemi Challenger. It's light metallic tan with the words "Sullivan County Sheriff Department" on the side and a light bar on top. A dual scooped hood with a Hemi emblem and five spoke wheels. That's the coolest Sheriffs car I've ever seen. Two or three years ago they bought a few new four door 4x4 Ram pickups, I thought they were cool, but this new Challenger, wow, really cool.
  12. Cool, it really looks good! Impressive work on the interior!
  13. Ok, I'm totally impressed! That paint job looks fantastic! And then you taped off the trim and sprayed it with Alclad! Wow! That's amazing. It looks great. Nice work.
  14. Wow Stray, doesn't a big city like Sydney have model contest? If you ever get the chance to go, go, you'll love it!
  15. You're Welcome, You're Welcome and You're Welcome.
  16. I took some photos of the Hoosier Model Car Association Contest this past Saturday. I thought I would share them with all of you. Just click on the link below. I had a great time, saw a lot of very nice built models, and found some good deals at the swap meet, ($12 for a complete '64 T-bolt kit) and got to talk with some old friends that I haven't seen in awhile. http://public.fotki.com/kcpyt0/model-contest/hmca-5215/

  18. Mine was a '67 Plymouth Fury III. 383 automatic. Blue inside and out with a black vinyl top. That car would haul all my friends plus a couple more. The trunk could sleep a family of six easily. I wish I would have kept it, it would be a lot cooler now then it was in high school.
  19. Wow! Good job on that grill, it looks awesome.
  20. I think it looks a lot better going away than coming at you.
  21. Great job Jack! Very cool Mustang. Keep up the good work!
  22. Awesome build Rex! Sounds (and looks) like you put a lot of work into it. Super cool.
  23. Sweet build Andre, the paint looks so smooth. Very cool. This kit always had hood fit problems, but you built it up into a great looking car. My girlfriend back in the '80's had a 1:1 black '79 Z-28. It had wheels like this but black.
  24. Super Cool site Robert! Thank-you!
