AMT's 1988/90 Olds Cutlass - Assembled & painted the internals about a month ago, then went back to the UK for a visit for a couple of weeks. First couple of sessions at the bench and I've started on the 'colouring in'. Tamiya TS-26 Glossy white straight from the rattle-can and my own mix of Tamiya acrylics for the blue. Will leave it for around 48hrs to cure before masking and adding the red. Please feel free to ask any questions or make any suggestions. Cheers from NZ.

Not much info publicly available yet on the forthcoming 1/25 AMT Olds Cutlass F85 Convertible reissue, so let the speculation begin. An image of the "hanger shot" was shown long ago on Round2's Collector Model blog, so we can at least see what remains: I appears the A-pillars were sacrificed for the Funny Car issue, but most of the chrome parts appear to have survived, including at least one half of the Judson supercharger (discussed in further detail here: Original instruction sheet here: https://modelkitreviews.proboards.com/thread/1285/amt-1964-olds-cutlass-convertible Here's what the original box looks like, and I would expect we'll see something similar, but tweaked slightly, for the reissue box:

Been a little stormy here on the weekends so I haven't had much time to get out and take pictures. From the new kit. It's not bad, wish there was a bit more detail to the kit. Maybe a few more decals for the emblems. Still, looks good.

Does anyone make this hood in resin or 3d printed. Also looking for the decals as well in white or gold. GOD Bless, Thanks for Any Help ....

Here is my take on the Revell 1983 Hurst Olds Cutlass... Body is Painted Testors Model Master Black lacquer and Testors One Coat Diamond Dust. The Interior is painted Tamiya Maroon... Tire decals from Fireball Modelworks. This really is a nice kit. One that I was excited about from it's announcement. It goes together very well. Grab you one, You won't be disappointed. I still have to get some better pictures, but these will have to do for the moment.. And as always, Thanks for looking.

We got one or two of these kits in at work and I've never seen it before in nearly 2 decades of screwing around with plastic and 14 years of working for retailers that carry kits It's an AMT Olds 442 that apppears to be a well detailed, modern tool, made like the AMT '67 Impala's separate frame and all form what the box art shows! http://round2models.com/models/amt/66olds-442 Was this one ever released and I just missed it, was it lost in the shuffle of the Racing Champions takeover and just never released until now under the Round 2 label, or is this a newly tooled kit from Round 2 under the AMT label:blink:
