raisin27 Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 I recently won a Model King Rat Packer kit as a door prize and decided to do a quick build on it. My intention was to to basically do it box stock just so I could actually finish something, but as we all know it very rarely works out that way! It is getting pretty close to finished, just have to detail under the hood and do a few more things to the chassis. It is pretty much box stock but I did redo the interior and chassis tin along with relocating the front tires a bit farther forward. These old AMT "funny cars" are pretty basic, but they are fun to do and make some pretty cool looking old drag racers. Thanks for looking, Raisin
Modellpularn Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 Oh, it's cool allright!! You're right about building a "quickie" to finish something.... I started on a Monogram Beer Wagon some time ago....
Dave Mikrut Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 I love it ! I am stuck in the sixties and I build lotsa AWB drag cars. Jungle Jim would have had a Nova just like that, you did him proud.
