raildogg Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 I have been building the Revell KW 900 Wrecker, kit #85-7634, the Fred's Automotive truck. I must say, this one, is the worst kit for trimming and sanding I've ever seen. All the parts have mad mold lines and flash on them. There is also some mold shift present too. So, I thought I might ask does anyone know how to date a kits manufacture?. It was made in Denmark, so I guess that makes it Revell of Germany, although it does not say that on the box. I hope I posted in the right Forum. Any thoughts on this subject.
Casey Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 There should be a date on the box or the instruction sheet. 1996 is listed as the date in one current eBay listing.
raildogg Posted December 15, 2012 Author Posted December 15, 2012 Yep, you were correct I just thought it was a publishing date for the insruction booklte. Still. it's a badly molded kit, just saying.
