tjones87 Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 I was noticing there are 2 rear ends in this kit...one seems to have more material were the springs mount? What would be the outcome of using it over the other one...pic below so you know what I am talking about...thanks
JollySipper Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 The one with the more material where the springs mount would make the rear of the car sit lower if I'm not mistaken, kind of like using blocks on a 1:1....
tjones87 Posted December 13, 2012 Author Posted December 13, 2012 ok thanks...that is what i was thinking, but wasn't sure
Guest G Holding Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 I think just the opposite The blocks with a leaf spring will raise the body up for bigger rear tires...just like lifting a 4X4.

I was looking at my 1:1 and figured out I need to use longer shackles to lift the rear end up for bigger tires...which i plan on doing. thanks again

Guest Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 One is for the Baldwin Motion version. It comes with Cragars and Mickey Thompson tires for the rear. So, tire clearance was needed for it. The other is, of course, for the stock Z/28.
