tjones87
I have seen this kit listed several places online as being a RARE kit...is it because its an older kit, or is it really sought after? Thanks
tjones87
ok figured the RARE part was online lol...I have this kit as a glue bomb...Sadly I built it several years back, before I was ''serious'' about model building. Don't have half the original parts, but just curious about it...I am kind of glad its not a holy grail of some kind...if it was..knowing I messed it up would have killed me lol... Jantrix
knowing I messed it up would have killed me lol... I know what you mean. Back in '84 my grandfather gave me an original 1961 edition AMT Double T kit. Of course I'd no idea that the kit was never released again after '61 and didn't learn of its rarity until years after. I was a kid. I built it, and rebuilt it, and rebuilt it.................until it was trash. And threw it away. For years I agonized about it. Thankfully Round 2 found all the molds and re-released it.
tjones87
Yeah...i would have hated to destroy a holy grail kit....My dad gave me all his kits about 15 years ago and I never done anything with them until about 5 years ago...this is one he had started, so i just kind of done my own thing to it...wish I would have the skill and knowledge i do now...I may end up rebuilding it into something someday lol....I still have the box and instructions lol I am also finding bits and pieces of it in my parts box. sstacey47
The chassis and int. from the revell 69 camaro will fit under it with alittle work.It gives a better look than the orginal kit parts.I have one posted on my photobucket towards the end.Sean Edited December 23, 2012 by sstacey47
