dragnut Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Does anyone make rame rails for 32 ford out of brass wanting to add lighting holes along front of frame thanks steve.
LDO Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Mark Gustavson did, about 10-15 years ago. He may still have some. They were photoetched and needed to be soldered together. IMHO, a simpler solution would be to box the rails with sheet styrene, then drill holes and glue in some Evergreen styrene tubing.
TedsModeling Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 If this is going to be a newer rod build, I agree with Lee to box the frame rails for strength. If it's going to be a older style rod build, they didn't box the rails, but you could glue a piece of thin styrene sheet to the flat side of them for added strength. Then drill the holes.
my80malibu Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Those ones that Mark Gustavson made were very expensive and required soldering skills. Interesting though no doubt about that.
