dantewallace Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 For the past two weeks I have been trying to find a flat black and a silver fine tip paint pen for doing window moldings/trim and can't seem to find them anywhere. I picked up a Testors flat black pen that claims in it's description that it is able to do fine detailing, but this thing is like a Sharpie with a fat chisel tip!! Anyone have any ideas or recomendations?? Thanks
SSNJim Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 I too found some Sharpie paint pens at the local Michael's and Hobby Lobby I would imagine they're available at Staples, art supply stores and other places too. They come in many different colors, including pastel, glitter, and metallic, and many points from extra fine on up. The paint is water soluble, and they cost $3-4 a piece, but are available in sets too. I haven't tried one on a model yet, but I picked up a set of 3 metallic (gold, silver, copper) extra fine point pens yesterday.

Theo Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Check out DecoColor from Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Uchida-1234-6-6-Piece-Clamshell-Decocolor/dp/B0029LHN8K/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1356998073&sr=8-15&keywords=decocolors The extra fine point is the same as size the extra fine Sharpies. These are basically enamel paints and behave as such. Theo
