Kit help (List)

Hey all

Man I was just wondering if there is any kind of list of model kits around that show what old kits have been re-released as man?

For example I want to build the AMT Whompin Wagon '55 Nomad gasser. Now I'm not going to pay collector prices for that kit on ebay and later found I did 't have too man because you can buy the re-release with the green car on the box and it has all the gasser parts you need to build the Whompin Wagon.

So that's what I'm asking man. Is there a list we could cross reference? I hope this makes sense man
