bobss396 Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 I would like to know if any aftermarket compony still sale perbent wire hinges. Scale Dreams used to carry a couple of different sized ones. They are in the process of going out of business, but may still have the site up with a picture so you can get an idea of how to make your own.
Jairus Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 Each application usually requires a different shape of wire hinge... so pre-bent wire dosn't really work that well. Why not bend your own? Pair of hands, wire cutters, needle nose plyers are all you need!

patrol52 Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 I use welding wire to make my hinges. I have also heard paper clips work, but the main thing is a fairly stiff wire, that wont bend just by the door opening and such. I use welding wire because, for it's size, it's really tuff, especially when cut into such small hinge size pieces.
