Villain Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 Do you have a link to the one your looking at? It might help tp see if anyone has the same one or any knowledge of it being good or bad.
azers Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 I have seen one style on ebay that comes with the extractor hose. Its 89 dollars. Anybody know the quality of that one?
slammedi'am Posted January 15, 2013 Author Posted January 15, 2013 Sorry, was at work when I made the post and didnt have the link but here it is.. http://www.amazon.com/Airbrush-Spray-Exhaust-Filter-System/dp/B005H48B00/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1358293030&sr=8-1&keywords=Model+Car+Paint+Booth
Erik Smith Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Kind of a weird set up. Does it blow air back into your face? I made my own box so me posting is kind of a waste, I guess
Roncla Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Sorry, was at work when I made the post and didnt have the link but here it is.. http://www.amazon.com/Airbrush-Spray-Exhaust-Filter-System/dp/B005H48B00/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1358293030&sr=8-1&keywords=Model+Car+Paint+Booth I've had one of those for about 18 months now and have sprayed everything from water based paint to 2K clearcoats at it. The only issue with it is it could do with more airflow to remove the overspray. When your clear coating a body and have a wide pattern on the airbrush it can't really keep up. Its fine or spraying smaller parts like engines / interiors where you would have the spray pattern turned down. My advise would be to get something more powerful.
azers Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Then what it needs is another "explosion proof" motor put in line of the exhaust tube to get more airflow. Hmmm. Thanks for info.
