Chris guthro Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 Heres another one on the bench, its an amt mack r cab and hood. I did not have the frame so i used an amt freightliner dual drive frame. Im using wide steer tires found in the revell cando pete and bill signs. Im thinking a mechanical cat will be powering this puppy. http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o287/chrisguthro/image_zps9cdbc6e5.jpg[/img.
Casey429 Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 A friend of mine has a '70 something R700 that's had its V8 Mack replaced with a 3406B and an Eaton 13 Speed. We've christened it the Mackerpillar, looks like yours is coming along nicely too.
cappy625 Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 you may have to add a r700 hood on it if your going to stuff a cat under the hood. i remember back in the day.r models that had anything like a cat or cummins,or even a v8 mack where all r700s. roadway had some with detroits in them.
