Frank Steffens Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 I have some Cobra Colors Primer, both the Moon Mud and VX Primer, neither of which I've used before (I forgot that I even bought them!). Should I spray sealer on the plastic first, or can I just shoot the primer on and work from there? If I do need a sealer, can anyone recommend a good one? TIA for the help.
Brendan Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 I have used both primers quite a bit. I have never had to put sealer down. Both primers are build up primers. Spray light coats. It will build up quickly. Also make sure you stir the contents thoroughly before use as they both have a tendency to settle in the jars and dry rather quickly. I usually use a larger needle in my airbrush; number 3 or 5. Hope this helps.
Frank Steffens Posted September 16, 2007 Author Posted September 16, 2007 It helps a lot Brendan, thanks!
