I have a lot of unbuilt kits like everyone else. But I desided to start building them. After suffering a stroke last summer, it made me think to do what I enjoy since I can't work anymore. No sob story, just renewing my favorite hobby. You won't find engine or chassis detail, but I can paint and fine detail interior and bodies. So here's my 2nd 1 day slammer and it's another Buick, This time a 65 Rivera. Enjoy it, I did.

Very nice work Al. Apparently you were thankfully not terribly, severely affected by your stroke. I also had several TIA's (mini strokes) back in 2000 and thankfully was not severely affected, other than some left side numbness and partial peripheral vision loss. Modeling really helps to keep the eye / hand coordination going and the brain working too. I'd go nuts if I wasn't able to build my models.

Very nice build Al. I'm with you, enjoy your models the way you want to.

Looks like you are doing well after the stroke. Best of health to you Al.

Al:

These types of builds are really great and you proved it.... lots of enjoyment from a short term effort and a nice addition to your collection.....

Hope your health keeps improving...

Best Regards
