Just got my new big rig cleaners from Shapeways. I designed them in Solidworks coverted to an stl. file uploaded and chose my material, polished aluminide, and viola I can finish my KW900 wrecker. Enjoy

Looks great! Just curious, but why did you choose this Alumide material over the Frosted Ultra Detail or Strong & Flexible material that's used to print most scale model parts?

I chose that material hoping to polish it up , but no biggy, plan to try out Alcad(sp) anyways. Yeas there is some weight to it but no so much as it will over power gluing. I had two printed, a LH and RH units, at about $32.00 for both, pricey ,yes, but next time I'll go with FUD. Live and learn!
