disabled modeler Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 The front is looking really good. Keep it going in that direction. This will come out very nicely when you're done. And I'm with Steve, I would love to see this cast in resin if this comes out right. Charlie Larkin What did you do with the rest of the Tornado????

He's my all-time favourite Stuntman ! He's been doing stunts since the 40's or 50's ; he was close friends with James Dean , and was with him when Dean died in that infamous crash . He was also a cop in french connection jean hackman kills him in the end he may have driven the lemans under the train not sure haveto check credits He certainly did drive that '71 LeMans in French Connection ; and as you've stated , he played the part of one of the cops in said film. ___________________ Keep up that great work , Michael !
montelsc Posted March 11, 2013 Author Posted March 11, 2013 maybe i should have started a 73 grandville not a 72 well to late

Sorry guys but Gene Hackman drove the Lemans in the movie, he won an academy award for the driving that he did in that Lemans.. I kind of felt bad for the guy that had the 71 Lemans especially after Gene Hackman said he needed his car for police business as after the way the Lemans looked with all of that damage I would have liked to hear the excuse that Gene would have gave him when he got it back... IMPALA SS 427 Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Nice work, i love seeing a conversion come together, i will be watching.
1972coronet Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Was the Grandville based on the G-Body or was its origins the Cadillac line ( I forget what GM's body style name was for the Sedan DeVille , etc. )
