Hello folks,

Here's some progress on the 1950 Chevy pick up which I've been working on for a while now.

The idea is to make a real rust out - forgotten pick up... :D

used techniques : salting !

I built one of the Texaco trucks except I made a slight modification. I used the 1978 GMC snow plow kit. It came out awesome, ill sub to your channel and send the vid to you.

But now, I actually have a question.

Normally there should be some texaco - logo decals on the both doors. but since there is all rust on those spots I can't just fix them . I kind of need to wheather it too , but here comes the tricky part, I don't know how to cut and slice decals to make it look like the paint faded away with the rust.

some help would be very welcome here...

tnx already.. :)

I am no expert when it comes to the decals but heres an idea for you to edit for yourself. I was thinking that you could apply it as normal then after its good and dry use your Xacto to cut little holes in it, Peel out the center of the hole and then rough up the edges of the hole. You could also take some sort of pigment or whatever you got to dirty it up a bit. Looks good so far! B)
