  1. I need to get one of these kits. Ide like to build a replica of my 82 K10.
  2. That's a good looking truck you got there. Did that kit come with those door panels molded in it? They aren't the right style for that model. that's a late 70's style door. That is a Good looking truck though, cant wait to see it when its done.
  3. That ole pickup still has quite a few salvageable parts on her. Sad to see it rustin away. I need to build a replica of my 82 K10 sometime. Truck's lookin good
  4. Your desk looks like mine. All I have on it currently is square body chevys. Gotta love em
  5. Looks great man. Maybe you could use some git-tar string
  6. That one should be on the box instead of the other one. Real nice build.
  7. I have had a set of those F250 rims for a few years but Ive never thought about putting them in the MT tires. I bought a set of resin lockout for my tires. The Jeep looks amazing as well!

  9. Ill have a new rig coming up soon, 1978 Chevy crew cab 4x4.
  10. Don't forget about fender clearance when it flexes. Love it!
  11. There is now paint on the truck, waiting for it to dry to finish the weathering process. http://i1331.photobucket.com/albums/w599/ChevyGuy789/IMG_20140208_174754_zps35f030a2.jpg
  12. 1962 Chevy K10 (Work In Progress) http://i1331.photobucket.com/albums/w599/ChevyGuy789/IMG_20140208_174754_zps35f030a2.jpg
  13. it seems my camera is being a pain in the butt so, basically I used plastic tubing for the lift kit part and for the mounts themselves I cut small squares and mounted them in the spot that would level them out. On the front where the plow bracket is, there are 2 little pieces of plastic coming off the side of it, that is where the leafs are mounted.
  14. Ill take some pics of the frame and stuff. I did not go all out and make it like it would be on the real deal. I used what resources I had with the amount of time. but it may give you some ideas anyhow. Frame is from the 65 Chevy kit
  15. I didn't know that. Ill fix that soon. The rims were resin cast from Scenes Unlimited, and plow rigging was from the GMC plot truck kit.
  16. Ive haven't finished a model in forever so I figured ide go with one of the trucks on my favorites list. Got the suspension under it today, she looks good. http://i1331.photobucket.com/albums/w599/ChevyGuy789/1962chevy003_zps356ea738.jpg http://i1331.photobucket.com/albums/w599/ChevyGuy789/1962chevy002_zps2e68632c.jpg http://i1331.photobucket.com/albums/w599/ChevyGuy789/1962chevy001_zps27232bdf.jpg Sorry for the lack of pics, Ill get more as I get closer to finishing.
  17. 1962 Chevy K10 http://i1331.photobucket.com/albums/w599/ChevyGuy789/1962%20Chevy%20K10/1963Chevy003_zps4ea2961c.jpg 1979 Chevy k10 http://i1331.photobucket.com/albums/w599/ChevyGuy789/1979%20GMC%20K15/312_zps523bcecc.jpg I forgot to add, Im stumped on what to build the 62 Chevy as, I thought maybe either a fire truck or farm truck. Suggestions welcome.
  18. If I was basing it off real measurements I would say about a 3-6 inch lift with a set of 35's. I like the canopy you got on there, that was a option from GM to put on your pickups.
  19. With all that copper you could make ya a Moonshine still. (And make me one while your at it!)
  20. I'm working on a 65 Chevy 4x4 right now. I plan on using a pair of the 77 GMC axles and scratch building some leaf springs for them.
  21. Give me a call if you need me to come pick you up off the side of the road in my Chevy. 828-123-DERP. Lol, I'm joking, Nice build, I would like to build one like this with some Super Swampers along with my Chevy.
