So, from my long hiatus, here's my attempt at getting back into the hobby. Revell Corvette C6-R done box stock with the exception of the carbon fiber decals, and SURPRISINGLY i did better this time with the carbon than i've ever done in the past when i was constantly working on models!

I got the model used and it had a ton of water damage to the box and decals. The decals are working, they just need to be...motivated, per se. One of the tires/wheels is missing from the box, but i figured i'd find another C6-R model that i can buy to get a wheel and basically have some spare parts. The other option is trying to detail up the brake that's exposed, which wouldn't look as good. blah.

here's pics of where i'm at with it, so far:

rear transmission bay area, which is box stock and i did use matte aluminum BMF on the firewall.

not much to the engine bay, just the box stock carbon decals on the air box, and some detail paint.

The paint on the headlight lenses isn't perfect, but most importantly i wanted to get this thing done. I've only got two days wrapped up in this model, and hope to have the rest painted and decals started pretty soon.
